Keep praying and believing.

Let the love of Jesus shine through you to someone today. Let your actions speak not your words.
People watch us more than they listen to us.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

A too busy mind can be a distraction from our daily grace walk. Some people can't even sleep at night because of all the thoughts running through their heads. Thoughts of what happened in their day, thinking about tomorrow, thinking about the children, finances, past mistakes, future plans. It's a vicious cycle.
Do you sometimes find yourself in a similar situation? It's not all that uncommon. Jesus even told his disciples on more than one occasion, "Take no thought." Nothing drives away our sense of peace more than overthinking things.
The reason Jesus cautioned His disciples about anxiety is because He knows the extent to which a busy mind can weaken us in our grace walk.
You might not be able to control what thought appears in your mind, but you can decide what you're going to do with it. The Bible tells us to bring every thought under the control of Christ.

I am so tired of the world making our daughters feel bad because they are not physically perfect in every way.
The world says: Beauty is seen.
God says: True beauty comes from within and is not seen with the eyes but with the heart.

Do you want God's attention?
Start praising Him in the bad times...where all hope seems gone. Your murmurs of praise are way more valuable that the whining and complaining of your waivering faith. Through your shouts of praise, His gates are thrown wide open. The way "out" is through your shouts of praise. In the face of impossibilities, laying claim to God's promises and praising Him for His faithfulness moves His heart and His hand. When there are no signs of victory and your faith is failing, it's your shouts of praise through the pain that will bring Light to your darkness. It's by faith that we have hope, and hope does not disapoint.
Romans 5:5 And this hope will not lead to dosapointment. For we know how dearly God loves us.

James 1:12 God blesses the people who patiently endure testing.

When God allows a storm in your life, it has great purpose; if you mis the purpose, you may miss God's will for your life.

As long as we insist on being in control, God will not interfere. He will allow us to go our own way, until we come to a place of surrender. In order to experience God's miracles in our lives. we must be willing to relinquish control, and let God be God.

I'm back........Time for some words of wisdom

The extent to which you are emptied is proportional to the amount you can be filled. It is a fact of faith! Whether your glass is half full or half empty, it must ALL be poured out so that it can be filled with the spirit of God.
Matthew 5:6
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

Why is it we plead for mercy in our own lives, yet demand justice be done to those who have wronged us?
James 2:13 For judgement is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy.
Mercy triumphs over judgement!
Instead of holding a grudge as a demand for payemnt for the wrong others have done to us, we need to choose to release it to God. When we refuse to forgive, we stay shackled to the people who have wronged us.
Set yourself free by forgiving!
