" Do you desire a powerful prayer life?" This is the theme of Pastor Kory Rowland's message on Sunday, September 6th, at Midvale Methodist Church's 10:00 AM Worship Service. The message title is "Fighting On Your Knees (Part 2)"

All are welcome to our services, which include prayers, praises, music, and fellowship, along with great preaching! We will be having Holy Communion today.

Our Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM. Please join us!

> Prayer Time will be on Monday, September 7th, at 9:00 AM in the Sanctuary.

> Combined Bible Study will be on Thursday, September 10th, at 6:00 PM at Newport Methodist Church.

> The Midvale Miners Jubilee will be at Midvale Park on September 11th,12th, and 13th! There will be plenty of food, entertainment, a history display, games for the kids, etc. Our church will have a Worship Service on Sunday, September 13th at 10:00 AM at the main stage near the basketball court! We will also have food at the concession stand all weekend. Cost is by donation! Come down for all the fun!

> Our next Midvale men's breakfast will be on Thursday, September 17th at 9:00 AM at the Big Bend Golf Course Restaurant in Uhrichsville.

> "Movie Night" will be on Sunday, September 20th at 5:00 PM in the fellowship hall. Snacks and pizza will be provided as we watch a good Christian movie!

> Newport Methodist Church will be having an open house for their newly remodeled sanctuary on Sunday, September 27th at 5:00 PM.

Sunday, August 30th, 2026 at Midvale Methodist Church's 10:00 AM Worship Service: Pastor Kory Rowland's message title: "Fighting On Your Knees." His theme: "Will you support your church with your prayers?" Scripture Verse: Colossians 1:1-12.

The service will include prayers, praises, fellowship, and music. All are welcome to join in the service.

Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM, and today's lesson is "Communicating God's Grace Through Deeds."

> Combined Bible Study will be on Thursday, September 3rd at 6:00 PM at Newport Methodist Church.

> The Midvale Miners' Jubilee will be held on September 11th, 12th, and 13th at the Midvale Park. Volunteers are needed to help at the Concession Stand run by our church all weekend. A sign-up sheet will be available in the church.

> The next Midvale Men's breakfast will be on September 17th at 9:00 AM at the Big Bend Golf Course Restaurant in Uhrichsville.

Don't forget that the combined charge church Worship Service/picnic will be this Sunday, August 16th at Camp Zimmerman in Gnadenhutten at 10:00 AM. Baptisms will take place at the pool after the Worship Service. Those desiring to be baptized will meet with Pastor Kory at 9:00 AM on Saturday, August 15th at Uhrichsville First Methodist Church.

There will be no Sunday School or Worship Service at Midvale this Sunday.

There will be no offering taken at Camp Zimmerman. anyone who wants to can bring lawn chairs. You may also bring indoor games ( board games, etc. ) or outdoor games ( co****le, etc. ).

The SPRC has made the following assignments for food:

All three churches: main dishes.
Uhrichsville First: desserts.
Midvale: side dishes.
Newport: drinks.

Also, we will be needing volunteers to help set up tables and chairs in the dining/ worship area. Please be there at 8:45 AM. Thank you!
