Prayer is a vital part of our relationship with God and an essential part of the life of the local church.

At the 2026 Certainty Conference, we’ll spend four days digging into what the Bible teaches about prayer: Why do we pray? How should we pray? What place should prayer have in our personal lives and in the church?

Through biblical preaching, teaching, and discussion, our desire is to grow in our understanding of prayer—and, more importantly, to become people and churches that are committed to prayer.

Summer’s End Celebration is THIS SUNDAY!

Join us at 10:30 AM as we celebrate all that God has done in and through First Baptist Church this summer!

Then, stick around after the service for our church-wide picnic with food and plenty of fun for the whole family—including inflatables, a giant water slide, co****le tournament, and more!

A few reminders:
- Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.
- Bring a large covered dish with a serving utensil to share.
- Please drop your dish off in the kitchen before the service and make sure your name is on it.

What to bring by last name:
- A–H: Dessert
- I–O: Vegetable or side dish
- P–Z: Salad (fruit, green, pasta, etc.)

3rd Annual “Fore the Kingdom” Golf Outing

What a great day yesterday! We’re incredibly thankful for everyone who helped make our 3rd annual Fore the Kingdom Golf Outing a success.

From the golfers who joined us on the course to the businesses, families, and individuals who sponsored, donated, gave prizes, and helped make the day possible—THANK YOU!

But this outing is about much more than golf.

Every dollar raised through Fore the Kingdom helps support foreign missions youth ministries around the world. Over the past two years, funds from this outing have helped provide Bible camps and youth ministries in Mongolia and Albania, giving missionaries opportunities to share the Gospel and reach young people in their communities.

As Fore the Kingdom continues to grow, our goal is to help even more missionaries provide youth Bible camps, Vacation Bible Schools, and other youth outreach ministries in places where the opportunity is great but the resources are limited.

We’re grateful for everyone who played a part yesterday. Your generosity goes far beyond a day on the golf course—it helps missionaries invest in young lives with the Gospel.
