Over the past few weeks we have been inundated with constant coverage about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and it has become a worldwide concern and is on the top of everyone’s minds.
First, we need to be reminded that no matter what comes our way we can trust in Jesus Christ. He told us in John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
We are also responsible for praying for wisdom and taking the appropriate actions and we wanted to share with you what we are doing to create a clean, sanitary environment to gather together in worship.
Here are the actions we are taking to prepare for Sunday.
-We are dedicated to offering a clean and safe environment.
-Our facilities are cleaned regularly.
-In addition to hand soap available in the bathrooms, we have a supply of alcohol-based hand sanitizers available for use at every service.
-We look forward to worshiping with you.
We can use your help as well - here are a few examples.
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Please stay home if you have had a fever in the last 24 hours.
-If you are unable to attend due to sickness be sure to join us live online on our website or on our page.
-Cover your mouth and nose with your forearm when coughing and sneezing.
-Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds at a time. Use soap and water when possible.
-If no soap and water are available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with 60%-95% alcohol.
We consider gathering together a valuable part of being the local church and just as Paul told Timothy “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
Living authentic faith together - see you Sunday!
