Adult Bible Study
C.S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce"
This fall, we are studying C.S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce." It is a moderate read with only fourteen chapters. It explores choice, free will, and spiritual growth in a down to earth way that helps us see our everyday actions in light of our faith.
There are two options for this study: a night option and a daytime option.
Both will cover the same chapters and content at the same time. People are welcome to come to both if they would like the fellowship and study. If people would like to or need to phone in, they may do that as well. If you need to miss a week or two, no worries!
The groups started meeting this past week with 24 people joining across the groups - we always welcome more!
We should end the week before Christmas.
The options are:
Daytime - Mondays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.(not meeting on Labor Day)
Evening - Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This space is open to everyone, so please invite others, and is an opportunity for discussion of the book and the different views we may have about the content and themes. It is a space to learn together. That being said, we will read the book together during the time we meet. There is no homework required!
Please email Pastor Vanessa at [email protected] if you would like to join or have any questions!
