The United Methodist Church was created on April 23, 1968, when The Evangelical United Brethren Church and The Methodist Church merged. The lives and ministries of John Wesley (1703-1791) and of his brother, Charles (1707-1788), mark the origin of their common roots. We at the New Paltz Methodist Church, open our doors to you and offer you an opportunity for the warmth of Christian Fellowship, the

inspiration of worship, and the peace of God's presence. WORSHIP EXPERIENCE:
Sunday morning service at 9:45am in person, on zoom and facebook. Mpnthly Taize Worship on the third Wednesday at 7pm and special services throughout the year. MUSIC MINISTRIES:

Covenant Groups, Adult Bible Studies, Children's Church School, Retreats, Study Groups. OUTREACH AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES:
Friday Soup Fellowships, Community Dinners, Provide space for Community groups (Twelve Step, Scouts, etc.) Student Christian Center, Family of New Paltz, Rural and Migrant Ministry, Salvation Army, and New Paltz Crop Walk (Walk-a-thon).
