Reminder - Today the LSM is going to the Ascension Parish Hot Air Balloon Festival at the Lamar Dixon Center in Gonzales! Will will meet in the LCC parking lot to carpool (and/or take the van). We will leave at 3:00 PM so we can arrive at Lamar-Dixon about 4:00. Bring a lawn chair to sit in if you can, or a blanket to sit on. There will be activities all day including classic cars, BBQ contest, live music, tethered balloon rides, food vendors, fireworks and much more. Admission is $5.

The Lakeview Singles Ministry will be going to the Ascension Parish Hot Air Balloon Festival at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, LA on Saturday. Sept. 26, 2015. We will meet at the LCC parking lot to carpool (and/or ride the van) together to the festival. We plan to leave at about 3:00pm so we can arrive at Lamar-Dixon about 4:00. Join us tonight, August 22, 2015, for a Black & Gold Progressive Dinner for the Saints pre-season game against the Patriots! The Progressive Dinner event consists of 3 houses, 3 courses, and 4 quarters. We will be starting at 5:30pm with a pre-game tailgate at 2104 Belmont Pl, Metairie, LA 70001. We will progress to the 2nd home for the entrée and the 1st half of the game, and then progress to the 3rd home for the dessert and the 2nd half. All three houses are within blocks of each other. The addresses to the 2nd & 3rd homes will provided at the tailgate.

There is no cost to attend.

Join us Saturday May 16, 2015 for the LSM Swamp Tour & Lunch! We reserved a private boat with Cajun Pride Swamp Tours on the South end of the Manchac Swamp in LaPlace, LA. Meet in the church parking lot at 9:00am to ride the bus together to LaPlace, and from there we will board our boat at 10:15am. After our Swamp Tour with Cajun Pride, we will take the bus to Frenier Landing Restaurant & Oyster bar on the Western shore of Lake Pontchartrain, "The New West End," to have lunch together and fellowship.
