Welcome to the Chapel of the Holy Spirit! We are the Episcopal and ELCA Lutheran Chapel for Tulane, Loyola, and Xavier.

Stay tuned to our page or our instagram for announcements. The Chapel of the Holy Spirit is the Episcopal, Anglican, and ELCA Chapel to Tulane and Loyola. We are next to these Universities but are here for all young adults and college students in the New Orleans area who are looking for a place to worship that is safe to ask questions and explore faith. All are welcome, and our primary ministry is to students, faculty, and staff of the Universities in our area.

Wow. So much goodness packed into the last couple of weeks of the semester here at the Chapel.
We hosted Bishop Duckworth for her annual visitation on Sunday, April 26th and had an incredible celebration with a baptism for Pastor Anders and Nichole's daughter. The celebration continued with a brunch after worship. (We think we even saw the Bishop pouring the mimosas...)
Two different a capella groups hosted their end of the year concerts in the Chapel to take advantage of the great acoustics in our space and packed out the sanctuary.
We had an awesome turnout for our final meal of the year together last Thursday and it is amazing to see how this community and the relationships between students have grown and evolved in the last two years. The Spirit is moving in this place!
Please keep our students in your prayers for safe travels home for the summer. Thanks for all of your continued love and support!

I apologize that I have been abysmal at posting updates this semester, but there has been so much goodness. Some highlights include:

- Our growing community on Sunday mornings for worship and on Thursday nights when we gather for a meal and conversation.
- Our joint events with our siblings from the Labyrinth campus ministry. This semester we hosting "Coming Out Day" worship and celebration, a Friendsgiving, and a Lessons and Carols service together between our two buildings.
- Bishop Duckworth's visitation! She joined our students and adult volunteers for a Thursday night meal and fire in our courtyard in late October. And then we found her doing the dishes... She rocks!
- Hosting a packed out concert in the Chapel for an a ca****la group from Tulane.
- Soooo many good individual and group conversations as we grew in relationship with God and with one another.

Pray for all of our students to have a restful and wonderful holiday. They worked hard this semester and deserve it!

Thank you for all of your support through generous gifts and your prayers this semester. The Spirit is alive and moving in this place!
