What does it mean to be Gaian, anyhow?

We are excited to announce, at last, the first in-person meeting of Crescent City Gaian Guild.

It was always our plan to meet outside, and now we can actually do so. Because the virus is still a threat, we will maintain a safe distance from one another, at least six feet, at all times.

We'll meet in City Park, in the areas between the Pizatti Gate (at Alexander Street) and the Butler/Owen memorial fountain. That's right across City Park Avenue from Ralph's on the Park.

11:11am Saturday morning for about an hour. All welcome, even the idly curious.

You may wish to bring a chair or blanket for sitting. There may be a fair number of people in the park; hopefully we can recognize one another. Even though we are out of doors, you may wish to wear a mask when moving about, but it is probably OK to remove it when seated in our circle.

We'd like to suggest the following basic program:
Brief opening invocation/reflection
(for this meeting a member can recite the Homeric Hymn to Gaia unless someone else has something they'd like to share)
Silent meditation for an agreed period of time
(please think how long you'd like this to be)
Dialog and refreshment
(please bring something for yourself)
