☆☆☆ Clothing Drive Canceled ☆☆☆
Wallingford’s First United Methodist Church received such an overwhelming response to their clothing drive for Colombian earthquake victims that they’re now overflowing with donations!
Second Blessings Thrift Shop stands ready to help if the need arises.
We’re still accepting your gently used finer clothing, winter coats, and men’s and women’s suits.
As always, we also welcome household items, home décor, games, toys, and any other gently used treasures to keep our shelves stocked with fresh finds and vintage vibes.
Thank you for supporting both the relief effort and our local thrift shop!

Volunteer Opportunities at Second Blessings Thrift Shop
The Second Blessings Thrift Shop is looking for volunteers to help keep our doors open and our mission strong!
We need help with:
● Cashiers – Simple work, just taking payments (no technical skills required)
● Sorting and pricing of incoming donations
● Staffing the sales rooms
These are easy, enjoyable roles—perfect whether you can help just once in a while or on a regular basis. Our thrift shop has been a wonderful success and continues to provide important support for the financial needs of our church.

Second Blessings Thrift Shop received a wonderful collection of artwork today. This particular set is approximately 70 years old—a vintage collection of Chinese watercolors presented in what appear to be original bamboo frames. The artist’s seal belongs to Tao Ran, and the accompanying writing translates to “cheerful,” “joyful,” or “happy.”
