One last countdown post… Christmas in New Market 2025 is TOMORROW! 🎄✨

Today’s spotlights: Mrs. Claus’ Workshop hosted by New Market United Methodist Church and our beloved Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!

✨ Important note: Due to construction at New Market Park, this year’s tree lighting will take place at The Derby Restaurant & Bar.

🎶 Christmas caroling begins at 5 PM! Plan to arrive a few minutes early so your kiddos can grab a lyric booklet—all children ages 5+ are invited to sing and help lead the town in carols!

We can’t wait to kick off the holiday magic with you! ❤️

Christmas in New Market 2025 is tomorrow!!! Please take note of the following road closures and no parking on Main Street!

Saturday, December 6, 2025
Christmas in New Market NO PARKING on Main Street from Marley Street to New Market Middle School from 11:00AM to conclusion of parade (Approximately
2:30PM). Beginning at 12:55 PM to the conclusion of the parade, road
closures will be at the following locations: • Main Street/MD Route 144 westbound and eastbound from
Route 75 to New Market Middle School
• Old New Market Road/MD Route 874 Southbound at E.
Wainscot (E. Wainscot and Quaker Way will remain open)
• All alleys in the Historic District leading to Main Street Note: New Market Elementary & New Market Middle School Parking Lots will be closed on this day until after the conclusion of the parade
(Approximately 2:30PM)

These measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the public.

The countdown to Christmas in New Market 2025 continues, only TWO more days! 🎄✨

In addition to the yummy offerings at The Derby and Sunset N Main we shared the other day, there will be so many delicious food and beverage options throughout the event so definitely come hungry!!

Today’s spotlight: Prospect Pantry, 5 West Cafe, Vintage, and our lineup of food trucks parked at New Market Physical Therapy.

How lucky are we to live in a town with so many fabulous local businesses? ❤️

Calling all kiddos ages 5+! Help us lead the town in singing Christmas carols this Saturday as we wrap up Christmas in New Market 2025 with our annual tree lighting!!
