Prayer for week of May 18, 2026
Eternal God,
Creator of all that is,
In you, we live and move and have our being.
You have placed us on earth
and sustained our being through the produce of the land
and the cleanness of the air we breathe.
You have made us for each other,
to tend and care for the weak
Spirit of God, open our hearts and minds
that we may live a life of reconciling love
modelled on the example of Jesus Christ,
in whose name we make this prayer. Amen.

Text Ephesians 4: 1-12
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Summer Staff Needed
To fulfill the vision of a safe place to “unplug, unwind, and experience God,” a dynamic team of 30 faithful young adults are needed to serve as counselors, medical staff, and program and support staff at Camp Wesley. These leaders must be passionate and energetic and want to spend their summer serving God, building community, and helping campers experience the joy of camp. Are you that person or do you know someone who would make a great counselor?
Upcoming Workdays
Mark your calendar with these dates: April 18 and May 9 from 9am-2pm and for their Open House weekend May 2-3. You will want to see Camp Wesley's extensive facility upgrades and renovations designed to create a safe, sustainable, and deeply welcoming environment for young people.
