We had so much fun tonight at Olio’s. Twenty of us enjoying great company and good food. It was our first annual Holiday gathering. We put our work aside for the night and had a festive time including a Yankee swap.

We are starting a knitting/crocheting group. Everyone is invited to join. You don’t have to be a member. The goal is to make items to be given to home bound people, patients at the Smilow Cancer center and Hospice of SE CT, newborns at local hospitals and to have a supply of hats mittens, gloves and scarfs to hand out at St. Sophia for low income people. Meeting in a group is for a social atmosphere and to be able to help each other out on projects. Teaching moments. Some of us want to learn to crochet with others helping us out. If you are interested, please contact JoAnn Ballassi at [email protected]. Let me know what days are good for you. Looking forward to hearing from you🙋👋🏻🧣

On June 19,2018 , we celebrated our year end banquet. Rebeka, in East Lyme was the venue. We had such a good time I forgot to take pictures! Joanne and I would like to thank all that participated in the many fundraisers and events this year. Without such dedication and love, our group would not be the best there is!! Have a great summer and rest up! Again, many thanks, you all are the best!
