❤️ THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR 12TH ANNUAL CHURCHES DAY OUT A SUCCESS! ❤️

What a beautiful day it was! We are so grateful to everyone who came out and helped make our 12th Annual Churches Day Out such a special day for our community.

For 12 years, Churches Day Out has brought churches, community organizations, local leaders, and residents together for a day centered around faith, fellowship, service, and love. None of this would be possible without the incredible people and organizations who continue to believe in this vision.

We want to give a very special thank you to Jeffrey’s Barbershop & spa, who provided haircuts for so many children and adults in our community. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and for standing with us for the past 12 years!

We are also thankful to the Drop-In Learning Center and the United Way Food Pantry for graciously donating food bags that allowed many families to leave with something extra to take home.

To every church that participated, thank you. To those who have been with us since the very beginning and to the churches who joined us for the first time this year, your presence, prayers, and support mean so much to us. Churches Day Out truly is a reflection of what can happen when we come together as a community.

A very special thank you to our guest preacher, Pastor Jesus Garcia of Church of the City New London, for joining us this year and sharing a message with our community.

We also want to thank State Representative Anthony Nolan for taking the time to join us, speak with so many of our participants, and be part of this year’s event. We truly appreciate you showing up and supporting our community.

And a big thank you to the New London Police Department and New London Fire Department for participating and spending time with our families today.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out. Every person who stopped by, received a haircut, enjoyed some food, grabbed a food bag, listened to the message, talked with a volunteer, or simply spent time with us helped make today what it was.

12 years of Churches Day Out. 12 years of faith, service, love, and community. And we are just getting started. ❤️🙏🏽
