🌟 EHC Kids Church Today! 🌟

Our topic this Sunday is “God Requires Your Obedience!” 🙌

We’re teaching our kids that obedience to God isn’t just about following rules — it’s about trusting Him completely, even when things don’t make sense. 💡

Today we’ll dive into three important truths:
1️⃣ God requires our obedience even when it doesn’t make sense.
2️⃣ God requires our obedience even when we’re not rewarded right away.
3️⃣ God requires our obedience even when no one else obeys.

Through Bible stories, fun activities, and real-life examples, the kids will see that obedience brings blessings and peace because God’s way is always the best way! ❤️

📖 Memory Verse:
“For if we obey Him, everything will turn out well for us.” — Jeremiah 42:6

Parents, bring your kids ready to learn, laugh, and grow in faith! Service starts at 11AM — see you there! 👧🧒✨

🌟 Prayer is Powerful 🌟

Today, we’re teaching our kids not just how to pray, but to truly believe in the power of prayer 🙏✨

It doesn’t matter how young they are — when they pray, they can experience God’s peace and power in their lives! 💖

This lesson reminds them that they can talk to God anytime and anywhere. Through prayer, they can worship Him, connect with His presence, and see His power at work in their own lives and in the lives of those they love. 💫

📖 Memory Verse:
“The prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.”
— James 5:16

Today, we’ll explore three key points:
1️⃣ Prayer is an opportunity to worship God
2️⃣ Prayer is a hotline to God
3️⃣ Prayer is a tool to meet the needs of others

We can’t wait to see what God does in our kids as they learn to pray with faith and confidence! ❤️

Today our kids will be learning a powerful truth: “The devil is a liar!” 👏🏽👏🏽

As Christians, we can thank God that we live in His truth. We know who we are in Christ, we know what God wants for us, and we know that every word in the Bible is true. But the enemy works hard to spread lies and keep people from walking in God’s truth.

John 8:44 reminds us: “When the liar speaks, he makes it up out of his lying nature, and fills the world with lies.”

This week, our kids will discover three big areas where the devil tries to lie to them—
1️⃣ About the things that hurt them
2️⃣ About their insecurities
3️⃣ About their failures

But the good news is that God’s Word is truth, and it’s the only way to overcome the lies of the enemy. 🙌🏽

Parents, encourage your kids to bring their Bibles and an open heart as we dive into God’s Word together! 💛

The Unhealthiness of Warped Opinions About Ourselves, and the Opinions of Others

There’s an unhealthy and unholy place we can give to people and their opinions of us. I’m not talking about words of counsel, encouragement and support from others, or even prophetic words. These things certainly have and should have a place in our lives. I’m talking about folks’ opinions (or comments) that may not even reflect reality or/and truth. Left unchecked, if we give them too much thought or attention, these things can begin to derail us and eventually even spell disaster in our lives. We can further find ourselves consumed and so caught up in what people think, like it’s an addiction, (even in what we think and say about ourselves), that we begin to lose our sense of identity and forget who we are. Suddenly, we find ourselves depressed, in a wilderness of confusion, left wondering what has happened to us. But, there comes a moment, when we feel like this, that we have to say, “Enough is enough! It’s time to return to truth!”

People of God,
It’s time to secure ourselves in what God thinks of us, and not in our own opinions, or the opinions of people. There have been moments in my life when I felt that I had to undo patterns like this. I had to undo the lies, by reminding myself who I am, and allowing God to remind me who I am. In those moments, I had to jump into some fasting and prayer, and the word. This helped tremendously. But, I had to continue pressing in, in other ways, too. I had to stop entertaining the lies, and begin to believe the truth about me. I had to remember that I was bought with a price, that I have a Redeemer, that I have an advocate with the Father, and He is Jesus Christ, my Lord. There was damage that was done. Yes. But, thank God, it wasn’t permanent. I am believing the same thing for you.

The damage that was done to me was two fold. It started with the opinions of others, but it was also my own destructive opinions of me (my own brokenness), things that I believed about me that, even though they may have been factual, they were not really me as God declares in His word. So, they weren’t true. I’ll say it again. Even though they may have been factual, I had to keep in mind that in Christ, I am a new creature, that God has the last say. I didn’t have to stay wallowing in confusion. I didn’t have to stay down. I had a choice in the matter. I can choose to get back up, because Christ made a way for me to do so. It’s called the cross. And, guess what? I put my hope in what God says about me, (instead of what I and others thought about me) and, I did get up.

And, I come today to tell you that if this is you, you dont have to believe the lies. My brother/ sister, it’s time to get back up. It’s time to come back. It’s time to come out of this mental and spiritual wilderness and begin experiencing afresh who you truly are, in Christ. It’s time to believe the truth about yourself. You are a new creature in Christ. The old is gone. The new is here. There is a better you locked up inside of you. Maybe you sinned. Get up, repent, and follow Jesus once more. If you feel that after everything that’s been said and done, you are spotted or stained and like it’s all over. I’m here to tell you that it’s not. Jesus sees you. I counsel you not to give up. Have faith. Ask God to show you how, if you don’t know how. Ask Him for His grace in the matter. And, don’t stop fighting ‘till the real you (the healed you) is revealed in full. War ‘til ‘that you’ manifests. Fight without losing hope. Remember that it is God who’s really doing it, not you. He’s doing the healing and the resurrecting. And, He never tires. He never quits. So, don’t you quit. He will continue to work on you and restore you, as you put your trust in Him. As you trust Him, Every lie will be dismantled and replaced by the truth. You can take that to the bank.
Stay blessed. Stay in the fight… and simply, believe.

“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” —Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

HE WILL DO IT!!!!

Today in EHC Kids church! 👇🏼

This week, our kids will be learning an important truth: We are not called to judge others—only Jesus is the true Judge.

The Bible says in 1 Samuel 16:7, “People judge others by what they look like, but I judge people by what is in their hearts.” Unlike us, Jesus sees perfectly and judges with fairness and justice.

We’ll help the children see that judging others often shows up in unkind ways—like making fun of someone, pointing fingers, or thinking they’re better than someone else. But God calls us to something different!

👉 The 3 key points we’ll cover are:
1️⃣ First, look at Jesus.
2️⃣ Then, look at yourself.
3️⃣ Finally, look at others differently—with love, not judgment.

This is such an important lesson as we guide our kids to reflect the heart of Jesus in every relationship! 💛🙌
