We are excited to be hosting another opportunity for ANYONE to have a tremendously positive impact on another person - and possibly several. All it takes is a little time! NOTE that this one is at Village Hall in the Community Room on the lower level.

LOTS of burgers and dogs grilled, assembled and served by lots of brothers at the St. Jude Church - New Lenox parish picnic! We even directed some traffic. ☺️ Our Squires were out hosting basketball competition and our beloved Father Bill even made an appearance!

Our council was proud this week to offer recognition to our June Knight of the Month, Ron Williams.

We were also proud to BE recognized by the Joliet Herald-News in their 2026 Readers' Choice Awards for having "One of the best: Fish Fry".

Several of our brothers - Vito Caponigro with Me-N-V BBQ, Dennis Lebhardt Jr with Dennis and the Menaces, Mark Mikenis with Grillin and Chillin - competed this past weekend in the Southland Salutes BBQ 4 Vets competition, of which our council is a proud sponsor. Dennis placed 13th (up 3 places from his first time competing anywhere last year) and Vito came in 4th! Congratulations to them and all the competitors...whose entries helped raise money for veterans and their families.

A reminder that we will be hosting this Thursday your next opportunity to take just an hour from your schedule and make a lifesaving difference for somebody! No, you won't know who you help - but if you or a loved one ever needs blood, it will be due to total strangers stepping up like YOU right NOW to make sure it's available. That way a dad can see another Father's Day, a mom can see her children's next birthday or a child can enjoy the next 4th of July....

We will be hosting our next blood donation drive a week from today. Please do not see the "30 donors" goal and think others will cover it! We need YOU. And even if we exceed that - there's always room (and NEED) for more.
