🧥 Our Agape Winter Coat Drive is back!

First Church of New Knoxville will once again be hosting a collection barrel for Agape Ministries from September 19th through October 30th. The barrel will be located in the main entrance foyer near the parking lot.

If you have new or gently used heavy winter coats, or are able to purchase new winter items, your donations are warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated. Agape also accepts new winter hats, gloves, scarves, and socks.

Every year, Agape comes alongside families and community members throughout Auglaize County, helping provide warm clothing to those in need. Your generosity can help bless a family right here in our local communities.

This year the NK Fire Dept. agreed to come over and power wash them off at the end of the night.

New Wednesday Night Small Group — Begins Tomorrow!

Join us tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 PM as we begin a new Wednesday Night Small Group!

Our group will be working through Essentials of Faith from RightNow Media. The first six-session series, taught by Francis Chan, asks a foundational question: “What is a Christian?”

From RightNow Media:

“Ask any group what it means to be a Christian, and we will hear different answers. But what unifies us? What are the basic characteristics of our faith that every Christian affirms? In this six-session series, Francis Chan will lead us in an exploration of key concepts common to all Christians through the centuries. No matter what divides us, we are united by these truths about the God we worship and our relationship with him.”

Your steps are not random. Every day, we make choices. Some draw us closer to God, while others lead us down paths that take us further away. That’s why we need His Word. It is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We may not see the whole road ahead, but God gives us enough light for the next step. Trust in Him.

When we follow Jesus, we find a road more beautiful than we could have imagined. When we have taken a wrong turn, we can turn back. When we are uncertain, we can trust His direction. And when we cannot see the way, we can trust the One who does.

Keep following Jesus, listen to His Spirit, and take one step at a time.
