Joy isn't just a feeling that changes with our circumstances. Scripture reminds us that to "rejoice in the Lord" is a command, not a suggestion. True Christian joy is found only in Christ and runs deeper than the challenges we face.

As we walk in obedience and remain close to Him, His joy fills our hearts and becomes our strength. No matter what this week holds, may we choose to rejoice in the Lord and rest in the joy that can only come from our Lord.

First Church NK member Meg Lageman Wierwille’s new book Even In The Valley releases June 1. This memoir shares Meg’s journey through grief, faith, healing, and leaning to move forward after the loss of her high school sweetheart. It is a story of hope, resilience, and God’s faithfulness even in life’s hardest valleys.

The Lord has already used Meg’s testimony in powerful ways. We pray that He continues to encourage and provide hope for people walking through their own valleys.

Books are available on
Amazon beginning June 1st and at
select local bookstores.
