Yesterday, our Widows Group gathered for a time of fellowship, conversation, and encouragement.

One of the blessings of the church family is walking alongside one another through every season of life. We are grateful for the friendships formed, the stories shared, and the support offered during these gatherings.

A special thank you to the leaders and volunteers who help create a welcoming space. Please continue to keep this ministry and the women it serves in your prayers.

"What exactly do the kids do at 5 Day Club?"

We get this question a lot!

Kids will enjoy games, crafts, snacks, songs, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. Throughout the week, they'll hear engaging Bible stories, learn about missionaries serving around the world, and discover God's love through puppets, activities, and lessons designed just for them.

Whether your child attends church every week or has never stepped foot inside a church, 5 Day Club is a fun and welcoming place to spend a few summer evenings.

If you're looking for a positive summer activity where your child can laugh, learn, and make memories, we'd love to have them join us!

Scripture Sunday 📖

Jesus tells us that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. In this passage, the disciples were unable to cast out a demon and were confused by their failure. These are the same people who walked closely with Him, and even they struggled with faith. This reminds us that God is not looking for perfection, but genuine faith and a willing heart that trusts Him completely.

The mustard seed is small, but it is alive and grows. Likewise, even a small faith, surrendered to Christ, can be used by God in powerful ways. When we empty ourselves of self-reliance and allow the Holy Spirit to fill us, God can do far more than we could ever accomplish on our own.

What mountain are you facing? Bring it to Jesus and trust Him with your next step.

🙏 Lord, take the faith I have, however small, and use it for Your glory. Help me to trust You more fully each day. Amen.

Happy Flag Day

Today, we honor the flag of the United States, a symbol of the freedoms we enjoy and the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve our nation.

As we reflect on the meaning of Flag Day, let us remember those who have worn the uniform, the families who have supported them, and the countless individuals who have helped preserve the liberties we often take for granted.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." – Psalm 33:12

May God continue to guide, strengthen, and bless our nation.

🎹 Spotlight: Pat Brown 🎹

This year marks an incredible milestone for one of Trinity's most faithful servants. In December, Pat Brown will celebrate 50 years as Trinity's organist!

For nearly five decades, Pat has shared her God-given musical talent with our church family, helping lead worship through hymns that have comforted hearts, strengthened faith, and filled our sanctuary with praise.

When asked why she continues to serve, Pat shared:

"I truly feel God gave me this musical talent, and I want to give it back by playing for others. I find that music is calming and brings inner peace, and I hope that by sharing my talent with others will do the same for them."

Pat's favorite hymn is *O Master, Let Me Walk With Thee*, a fitting choice for someone who has faithfully walked alongside our congregation through so many seasons of life.

Outside of church, Pat is an avid animal lover and advocate for pet rescue and adoption. She currently shares her home with three dogs and two cats. She is also a devoted football fan, cheering on the Washington Commanders and Notre Dame, and has attended numerous games and training camps over the years.

Pat, thank you for your dedication, faithfulness, and the countless hours you've spent sharing your gift of music with Trinity. Your ministry has touched generations, and we are truly blessed by your service.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Community Yard Sale a success!

From the church members who donated items to the volunteers who sorted, organized, priced, and worked countless hours behind the scenes, to the vendors who set up and participated, and to every shopper who stopped by, thank you.

Special thanks to the New Kingstown Ladies Auxiliary for providing food and refreshments throughout the day. Your support helped make the event even more enjoyable for everyone who attended.

Events like these are about so much more than buying and selling. They bring people together, create opportunities for fellowship, and strengthen the connections that make our community special.

Thank you for spending part of your day with us. We are grateful for each person who played a role in making this event such a wonderful success!
