More positive news in NK!

🏀✨ History was made at JFK Park Saturday.

Surrounded by community, legacy, and love, we proudly welcomed Chester “Chipper” Harris Jr. ( #10), Benjie Pryor ( #40), and Billy Varner ( #22) into the inaugural Fence of Fame induction presented by the Linda Louise Foundation — immortalizing their impact on Valley High School basketball and the entire AK Valley community.

They Join JFK Court legends Tom Pipkins and Baron Flenory whose names line the courts.

Special thanks to Mayor Tom Guzzo, and Councilman Dante Cicconi for their continued leadership and support of this incredible event, this moment was a reminder that New Kensington/Arnold never forgets those who put it on the map.

These men are not only legends of the court but equally as impressive human beings!

Today we had our yearly St. George day celebration. We honored our high school graduates, our Sunday school children, their teachers, our alter boys and all of our new parishioners that have come into the church in the past year. We were treated to a lovely luncheon catered by It’s was a really beautiful day!
