📚✨ COMMUNITY SPACE NEEDED – Pop-Up Storytime (Ages 0–5) ✨📚

A few months ago, we asked our community what kinds of family-centered events you would love to see — and one of the most requested ideas was a Pop-Up Storytime for little ones (ages 0–5).

We’re ready to make it happen! 💛

Community Hope Project is looking for a small indoor space in the Russellton / East Deer area that would be willing to partner with us and host this free event for families.

We would need:
• A safe indoor space
• Room for approximately 10–20 children and caregivers
• 60–90 minutes of availability (weekday morning preferred)

This would be a simple, joyful time of stories, songs, and connection for young families in our community.

If you know of a church, community room, business, or organization that might be willing to donate space, please comment below or message us directly.

Let’s keep building spaces where families can grow together. 💛

We’re grateful to share that Community Hope Project has officially adopted a stretch of Freeport Road through PennDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway program.

Caring for our community isn’t just about meeting needs—it’s about stewarding the places we share. This roadway is part of our neighborhood, and taking responsibility for it is one small way we can live out our call to serve.

We look forward to gathering volunteers, rolling up our sleeves, and showing that quiet faithfulness still matters. Small acts of care, done together, can make a real difference.

If you’d like to join us for future cleanups, keep an eye out—more details coming soon.

Community Hope Project – 2026 Update

As we step into 2026, we’ve finalized a simple, responsible operating budget for Community Hope Project.

Our goal this year is to raise $4,000, which fully covers:

Emergency assistance for local families
Hope Feeds Families food support
Our annual scholarship award
Christmas outreach
Basic operating costs that keep everything accountable and transparent

We intentionally keep our budget lean and only spend what is raised. Every dollar is tracked, documented, and tied directly to real needs in our community.

There’s no pressure to give — sharing, encouragement, and continued community support matter just as much. If you’d like to be part of helping neighbors in tangible ways this year, we’re grateful for you.

Thank you for believing in quiet, local impact.

Help support Community Hope Project by donating or sharing with your friends.

We are planning a fundraising gala to support our local family assistance and community programs.

We’re currently looking for a venue willing to donate or offer reduced-cost use of a space for this event. We’re open to community halls, event spaces, churches, social clubs, or similar locations.

If you own a space, manage one, or know someone who might be willing to help, we’d love to connect. This event will directly support neighbors right here in our community.

Please feel free to comment, message us, or tag someone who might be a good fit. Thank you for always being part of the good work happening locally. 💙

As 2025 comes to a close, we want to pause and say thank you.

Community Hope Project was built on a simple belief: neighbors helping neighbors with dignity, discretion, and care. This year, because of our community, that belief turned into real impact.

2025 Impact Snapshot:

• $365 in direct cash support received
• $345 spent directly on families and program needs
• 40 in-kind donations totaling 570 items
• Emergency assistance provided to families facing crisis
• 10 families supported through Angel Tree
• 26 children served with 353 gifts donated
• 4 food boxes distributed to households in need

Every dollar and every donation was tracked internally and used intentionally. We don’t seek recognition — we focus on responsibility, transparency, and meeting people where they are.

To every donor, volunteer, prayer partner, and neighbor who quietly stepped up this year: thank you. Your generosity made hope tangible.

As we move into 2026, we remain committed to serving our community with integrity, compassion, and stewardship.

Hi everyone,

Due to multiple reports coming in of roads being bad, and the wind chill factor, we have come to the tough decision to cancel caroling tonight. We want everyone coming and participating to be safe.

We will look to reschedule either this weekend of sometime next week before Christmas so please stay tuned!

With this year's Angel Tree complete and the holidays approaching, we want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this season brighter for local families.

Our food and winter support efforts continue, and we’re grateful to walk alongside this community during a busy and meaningful time of year.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s Angel Tree possible.

Because of your generosity, local children and families will experience a little extra joy this Christmas season. 💙

As we continue through December, our winter food and clothing support efforts are still ongoing. Thank you for standing with your neighbors when it matters most.

Community showing up for community.

We are incredibly grateful to Allegheny Valley Toys For Tots MCL 827 for their generosity in supporting the East Deer family who lost everything a few days ago to a fire. These donations—along with two bikes—will bring comfort, joy, and a sense of normalcy during an incredibly difficult time.

This is what neighbors helping neighbors truly looks like. Thank you to everyone who stepped up quietly and selflessly to make sure this family knows they are not alone.

Angel Tree Donations Pickup – Thank You!

Today we picked up a carload of Angel Tree donations from All About Kidz, and we are beyond grateful for their generosity.

Because of partners like this, local children and families will experience the joy, dignity, and warmth of the season. This is what neighbors helping neighbors truly looks like.

Thank you to the staff, families, and children at All About Kidz for stepping up for our community. Your kindness matters more than you know.
