First Assembly of God, Waverly First service was in January 1976. First pastor was Rev. Bill Stewart. Rev. Bobby Willeby is our current pastor.

We are currently only having online services via Facebook until we are able to get our new building built.

This Sunday morning, 10-10-21, only we will be going live at 8:30 a.m. Brother Willeby has asked to be a guest speaker at House of the Lord in Camden, TN. Service will begin at 10 a.m. if you would like to attend.

Our church has been overwhelmed with phone calls from all around the USA. People asking us how they can help our community. Now more than ever we need to be showing people the love of God and letting our lights shine. The devastation is so unbelievable, but God can and will provide during this time. If you have a need or know of a specific need at this time that we can direct these churches to, please let us know. We appreciate each and everyone that has come out to help Humphreys County. It is no wonder we are known as the Volunteer state. Continued prayers go out to the families that have lost loved ones. May God bless and keep you!

Starting August 1st @ 9:00 am we will be having virtual services again. Please join us every Sunday morning for our live service.

We are saddened by the loss of Bro Steve Brown and Sister Denise Willeby. We are asking that you pray for the Brown and Willeby family during this time. Pastor Bobby is at home trying to heal from CoVid and appreciates all of your prayers. We will not be having services online or in person at this time and will let everyone know once we resume services. Thank you!
