Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church

Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church Located right outside of New Hope, PA, we are a community of Christians who worship together, welcome all, and seek to serve in the way of Jesus. Pastor Rev.

Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church (TMPC) is located in beautiful Solebury, Bucks County, Pennsylvania near the Delaware River. Our members come from a number of surrounding towns such as New Hope, Newtown, Washington Crossing, Buckingham, Wrightstown, Doylestown, Yardley, Morrisville, and Lambertville and Ringoes, New Jersey. We are blessed with a warm and active congregation of about 300 memb

ers who reflect the diversity of our community. We are small enough to be warm and personal. At the same time, we are large enough to support very active programs in music, Christian education, youth ministry, and mission and service. We are blessed with exceptional staff led by our Pastor Rev. Stephanie Templin Ashford and Assoc. Bailey Heckman. Find out more about our programs and staff by visiting our website tmpc.org

What really matters when everything else falls away?

This week, as we wrapped up our journey through the story of David, we were reminded that faith isn’t about building the biggest kingdom, proving ourselves, or getting everything right. It’s about learning what has lasting weight, and continually turning our lives back toward God.

What would remain if everything else blew away?

Join us Sundays at 9 & 11 AM. 💛

Another Sunday at Thompson! 💛

This week, we wrapped up our journey through the story of David and enjoyed worship, music, fellowship, and a coffee hour made even sweeter by some of our littlest friends!

And if you’re wondering about the song choice…our benediction came from the wise theologian Elsa: “Let it go.” ❄️😂

We’re grateful for a church family where every generation has a place—and where there’s always room for a little laughter.

Sometimes we’re really good at seeing what needs to change in someone else… while completely missing what’s happening in our own hearts.

Jesus reminds us to notice the log in our own eye before focusing on the speck in our neighbor’s. And sometimes, that means being willing to let someone we trust hold up the mirror.

May we have the humility to listen, the courage to change, and the grace to keep growing. 💛

We'll see you Sunday 9 & 11 AM at Thompson Church.

This Sunday, we continued our Never Disqualified series with the story of David and Bathsheba, reflecting on sin, power, brokenness, and especially, the grace of God that meets imperfect people in the middle of it all.

Alongside this challenging story were so many gifts: music from our youth at 9:00, praise from our worship band at 11:00, warm welcomes, and fellowship across generations. We’re grateful to gather, learn, worship, and grow together each week. 🤍
