“The Sustaining GOD”

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁…

You are being sustained by GOD.

The pressure should have broken you.
The pain should have buried you.
The battles should have taken you out.

But somehow,
through every trial,
every burden,
and every unseen struggle,
GOD kept holding you up.

You are not standing
because life was easy.
You are standing
because GOD has been faithful.

For Lamentations 3:22–23 says, “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because HIS compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

You are still standing because GOD is still sustaining.

What should have destroyed you
became proof
that GOD’S hand is still on your life.

𝗜𝗙 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗞𝗘𝗣𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗥,
𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗙𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥.

Bring them to church.

Even if they’re coloring on the bulletin.
Even if they’re whispering too loud.
Even if they’re laid out across your lap, fully asleep before the sermon hits the second point.

Bring them anyway.

Faith isn’t built in perfect silence.
It’s built in repetition. In rhythm. In showing up.

Let them see hands raised.
Let them hear worship.
Let them be surrounded by people who love Jesus and aren’t ashamed of it.

They don’t have to “get it” today.
Seeds don’t sprout the same day they’re planted.

One day they’ll remember the songs.
The prayers.
The feeling.

So bring them.
Messy, wiggly, tired… and all.

I applaud every parent who brings their children to church. I know it’s tough when they’re small messy and loud. You may feel embarassed, frustrated, and may even feel like an outcast at times. I want you to know that you are a hero and valued.

Keep bringing them to church.
