Since the seventh century, September 1 has symbolized the day of the creation of the world in the Byzantine tradition and has been the opening feast of its liturgical year (known as the Feast of the Indiction), in parallel with Rosh Hashanah marking the Jewish New Year. Creation in Christ celebrates the ongoing creation of the world in and through Christ, who sustains, unites, and holds all created things.

This Sunday, we will celebrate Creation Sunday and hear about the triune God who creates all things: sun and moon, shining stars, sea monsters, creeping things and flying birds—and, yes, even human beings.

We worship Sunday mornings at 10:15am.

If you're interested in Wednesday Worship, come see us for a lite meal at 5pm-ish, and a short worship service at 6pm. This Wednesday, we will talk about "love".

This Sunday continues where we left off last week. Peter just finished calling Jesus "... the Christ, the Son of the Living God" - and Jesus commends Peter. This week's lesson, Peter ends up getting some of Jesus's wrath. My lesson is titled, "All Good Things..."

Tonight's worship theme is by special request. Last week we discussed "What is sin?" Tonight we follow that up with "Forgiveness". Specifically, we look at Peter's question, "How many times do I have to forgive someone?"

Come grab a bite to eat at 5pm-ish, and hang around for 6pm worship, (with Holy Communion).
