Yesterday the children saw a Mime Group act out the salvation story to music. It was such a special time. Several of the children raised their hand to accept the Lord after the performance. Praise the Lord for all the seeds He is planting in these children's hearts!

The 5th graders had a wonderful time on their Graduation Trip to Sight and Sound to see "Joshua"!! After the show, they had dinner at Cici's Pizza. We will miss our 5th graders. It was great to have this special time with them! We will be praying for them as they go to Middle School.

Verse for March 12 -- Matthew 5:16a "...let your light shine before others..." If you are a believer in Christ, Jesus wants us to be a light in this dark world. WE SHOULD REFLECT THE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST WHERE EVER WE GO SO THAT PEOPLE MAY SEE CHRIST IN US. John 14:2 "...I go to prepare a place for you." These were Jesus' words. He told His discilpes -- and us -- that He was going to prepare a place for us in heaven. WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN, HE WILL COME IN GLORY AND TAKE ALL HIS FOLLOWERS TO THE PLACE IN HEAVEN HE HAS ALREADY PREPARED FOR US! WHAT A WONDERFUL LORD AND SAVIOR. Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." Ask your child to tell you the parts of the armor of God (it is in the next several verses after this verse). If we follow this and put on the armor of God, God equips us with everything we need to resist the devil and be the person He intended us to be!

Acts 16:31 "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved." We talked about FAITH on Thursday. How do we have faith in someone we cannot see? We don't see the wind, but we have faith it's there. We don't see gravity, but we have faith it's there. WE BELIEVE IN JESUS BECAUSE WE HAVE FAITH HE IS THERE. WE CAN SEE CREATION AROUND US AND KNOW HE IS THERE. WE CAN SEE ANSWERED PRAYER AND HAVE FAITH HE IS THERE. WE HAVE FAITH BECAUSE OTHERS BEFORE US HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND SO WE KNOW HE IS THERE. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16. God is holy. We are sinners. Only holiness can be in heaven with God. Jesus came to die in our place for our sins to make us holy because He was the perfect Lamb of God.. JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN. PLEASE TRUST IN HIM TODAY.
