The gift you're giving isn't just money. It's a life rewritten.

We are $150,000 short of our fiscal year goal, and June 30 is closing in. Every dollar that comes in between now and then keeps the lights on, the doors open, and the work going! The sacred, daily work of walking men and women out of addiction and into freedom.

You don't have to give a fortune. You just have to give. $25. $100. $500. A monthly Lifeline partnership. Whatever God puts on your heart.

Because the gift you're giving is a son who comes home. A mother who finally sleeps.

A daughter who learns her name. A life rebuilt by the One who calls Himself the Potter.

This is what surrender looks like. πŸ™Œ

Inside the walls of the Potter's House of Ruth, women who once believed they were too far gone are learning to hear a different voice. The voice of a Father who calls them beloved, chosen, redeemed.

Our 12-month residential program is so much more than addiction recovery. It's identity reclaimed. Chains broken. Daughters of the King discovering who they really are.

Some come in barely whispering. They leave singing!

If you or someone you love needs healing, we'd be honored to walk that road alongside you! Call (717) 844-1720 or visit thepottershouselancaster.org to learn more about the women's program at The Potter's House of Ruth!

There's something about a river that puts a man back together. πŸ›Ά

Recently, our brothers from the Men's Program traded recovery house walls for open water.. paddles in hand, wind on their faces, our Creator on full display.

Out here, the noise quiets. The current carries. And brotherhood gets forged in the kind of moments you can't manufacture, you just have to show up for.

These trips aren't a break from the work. They ARE the work. Healing happens in fellowship. Restoration happens in rest. Trust gets built one stroke at a time.

Please pray for these men as they keep walking out their freedom!

Heavenly Father,

As we step into a new month, we thank You for Your faithfulness that has carried us this far. Thank You for the victories we've celebrated, the lessons we've learned, and the ways You've sustained us through every challenge.

Lord, we surrender June to You. Guide our steps, guard our hearts, and help us to trust You more deeply each day. For those who are weary, bring renewed strength. For those who are struggling, bring comfort and hope. For those seeking direction, shine Your light on the path ahead.

We pray for healing where there is brokenness, restoration where there has been loss, and freedom for those still battling addiction and strongholds. Remind us that no situation is beyond Your reach and no person is beyond Your grace.

Help us to walk in faith, serve with love, and keep our eyes fixed on You. May this month be filled with opportunities to share Your hope, extend Your compassion, and witness Your goodness at work in our lives and communities.

We trust You with every day ahead.

In Jesus' name,
Amen.

MAY PRAYER & PRAISE RECAP!

As we look back on the month of May, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for all God continues to do through The Potter’s House Ministry. Month after month, we are reminded that transformation is possible through Jesus Christ!

This month we witnessed:

πŸ™Œ Men and women staying committed to recovery and choosing growth even through difficult circumstances.

πŸ™Œ New jobs, promotions, restored opportunities, and students stepping into greater responsibility and independence.

πŸ™Œ Spiritual growth through Bible studies, mentorship, prayer, and deeper relationships with the Lord.

πŸ™Œ Restored family relationships, renewed hope, and reconciliation beginning to take place in many lives.

πŸ™Œ Students moving into new phases of the program and continuing to stay grounded in faith through transition.

πŸ™Œ Growth in leadership as students encouraged one another, served faithfully, and stepped up as examples to those around them.

πŸ™Œ Continued healing β€” emotionally, spiritually, physically, and relationally β€” across every campus.

Throughout May, we also continued lifting up many prayer needs:

πŸ•Š Strength for those battling addiction, fear, anxiety, grief, discouragement, and temptation.

πŸ•Š Wisdom and peace for students making major life decisions, rebuilding relationships, and learning new responsibilities.

πŸ•Š Healing for physical illness, emotional wounds, and broken family dynamics.

πŸ•Š Provision for employment, transportation, housing, and financial stability.

πŸ•Š Guidance and endurance for our staff, house managers, directors, and volunteers as they faithfully serve across all campuses.

πŸ•Š Continued provision for the ministry as we grow and expand to meet increasing needs.

We are so thankful for every person who prays, gives, volunteers, and supports this ministry. Your support makes stories of restoration possible every single day.

🍎πŸ₯•πŸ₯¬ What a blessing!

This week, we received an incredible donation of fresh produce and eggs from Ease the Burden, a nonprofit founded by members of the WJTL community with a heart to serve others in practical ways.

Thanks to their generosity, our students and residents have access to fresh, healthy food including apples, bananas, carrots, lettuce, and eggs. These gifts help nourish both body and spirit while easing the burden of food costs for ministries like ours.
We are so grateful for organizations that come alongside us and help make a difference in the lives of those we serve every day.

Thank you, , for your partnership, generosity, and commitment to serving our community!

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." β€” Philippians 4:19

Memorial Day is not about us.

It's about the ones who never made it home. The ones whose names are etched into stone, into folded flags, into the silent ache of families who still set out a photograph instead of a place setting.

They were sons and daughters. Husbands and wives. Best friends, neighbors, the kid down the street. They had plans. They had people waiting. They had a whole life ahead of them, and they laid it down anyway.

Today we don't say "thank you for your service." Today we say thank you for everything. For every birthday they missed. Every sunrise they didn't see. Every child they never got to hold. The cost is staggering, and the freedom we enjoy was paid for in blood.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13

To every Gold Star family, we remember with you. To every fallen service member, we will never forget.

May we live worthy of what you carried.
