Scripture Sunday πŸ“–

Jesus tells us that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. In this passage, the disciples were unable to cast out a demon and were confused by their failure. These are the same people who walked closely with Him, and even they struggled with faith. This reminds us that God is not looking for perfection, but genuine faith and a willing heart that trusts Him completely.

The mustard seed is small, but it is alive and grows. Likewise, even a small faith, surrendered to Christ, can be used by God in powerful ways. When we empty ourselves of self-reliance and allow the Holy Spirit to fill us, God can do far more than we could ever accomplish on our own.

What mountain are you facing? Bring it to Jesus and trust Him with your next step.

πŸ™ Lord, take the faith I have, however small, and use it for Your glory. Help me to trust You more fully each day. Amen.

Scripture Sunday πŸ“–

Today, let’s pause to celebrate the Lord.

So often we come before God carrying prayer requests, burdens, and needs. Scripture invites us to do that. It is also good to remember that we were created not only to seek His help, but to delight in Him, to love Him, and to give thanks for His faithfulness and mercy.

Every breath is a gift. Every evidence of grace is a reminder that God is at work in our lives, drawing us closer to Him and shaping us into the people He created us to be.

What are you praising God for today? Share with us in the comments!

πŸ™ Heavenly Father, we praise You for Your amazing grace, steadfast love, and unfailing mercy. Fill our hearts with gratitude and joy as we offer ourselves to Your service and glory. May all we are and all we do reflect Your love to the world. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Scripture Sunday πŸ“–

Jesus promises a peace that the world cannot giveβ€”a deep, steady peace that lives in us even as storms swirl around us. Health concerns, financial pressures, and relationship struggles may surround us, but the peace of Christ anchors our hearts. When we stay rooted in Him, we can face the troubles of this world without being overcome.

πŸ™ Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of peace. Calm our anxious hearts, steady our minds, and help us trust You in every circumstance. Let Your peace guard our lives today and always. Amen.

"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting." (Acts 2:1-2, NRSV)

Today churches remember and celebrate Pentecost, commemorating the day the promise was fulfilled in sending the Advocate or Helper. It reminds us that, with the Holy Spirit, amazing occurrences take place. Imagine being there, feeling the Spirit, being given the power to speak another language and communicate with others from all over. This showing of God's power is an example of the power that can fill us to do great things in His name.

πŸ™ Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Fill us so that we may faithfully serve You and boldly share the hope of Jesus Christ. Amen.
