"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting." (Acts 2:1-2, NRSV)

Today churches remember and celebrate Pentecost, commemorating the day the promise was fulfilled in sending the Advocate or Helper. It reminds us that, with the Holy Spirit, amazing occurrences take place. Imagine being there, feeling the Spirit, being given the power to speak another language and communicate with others from all over. This showing of God's power is an example of the power that can fill us to do great things in His name.

🙏 Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Fill us so that we may faithfully serve You and boldly share the hope of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Scripture Sunday đź“–

“One body, many parts.” In 1 Corinthians 12, we are reminded that every follower of Jesus has a vital role in the Body of Christ.

In a world that celebrates titles and achievements, it’s easy to feel small or unnoticed. But in God’s Kingdom, our significance is not measured by visibility. What may seem small is never unimportant. Scripture reminds us that every person, every gift, and every act of obedience matters deeply to the Body of Christ.

Your quiet acts of service unseen by others are seen by God and are essential to the life of His Church.

If you’ve ever felt overlooked, remember this: you are seen by God, you are needed in His Church, and have a role that no one else can fulfill. Smallness does not diminish importance.

Comment below to share how God has used you, big or small, to make a difference in someone’s life.

🙏 Heavenly Father, thank you for making me part of the Body of Christ. Help me see the value of every member, including myself. Give me the grace to serve no matter the task, for Your glory and the good of others. Amen

🎉 Today we celebrate 4 years of the Global Methodist Church! 🎉

In just four years, we have seen God move in powerful ways through new churches planted, annual conferences formed across the world, communities reached for Christ, and lives transformed through faithful witness.

We give thanks for the laity and clergy who have prayed, served, sacrificed, led, and loved so faithfully on this journey.

Now we want to hear from you:

🌍 Where have you seen God at work through the Global Methodist Church?
🙏 What are you thanking God for in this season?
⛪ What is one word you would use to describe the past four years?

Drop your answer in the comments as we celebrate all God has done and look ahead with hope and expectation for what He will continue to do.

Please keep this family in your prayers.

Scripture Sunday đź“–

In a world full of noise, distractions and competing voices, Jesus invites us to recognize His voice above all else.

The difference between the shepherd and the hired hand is relationship. Jesus invites us into relationship; the shepherd knows His sheep, and the sheep know His voice. He does not run when things get hard. He stays. He leads. He lays down His life.

The challenge for us is not just to hear Jesus, but to discern His voice among all the others calling for our attention. In our daily lives, discernment matters. Through prayer, Scripture, and faithful practice, we learn to recognize His voice.

The Good Shepherd is still speaking. Are we listening?

🙏 Lord, shape my heart through Your Word and Your presence so that I may recognize where You are leading. Help me to hear Your voice and follow You faithfully every day. Amen.

Grateful to share this timely and grounding word from Bishop Moore.

In a world full of noise, opinions, and platforms, the call remains simple—and it hasn’t changed.

We are not called to elevate ourselves.
We are not called to build our own kingdoms.
We are called to point people to Jesus.

Leadership, influence, and even our everyday interactions are opportunities to reflect Him—through humility, truth, and the way we love others.

May we be people who live what we believe… not just post about it.
May our lives preach louder than our words.

“Let Jesus be Lord. Him and Him alone. Preach Jesus only and His Kingdom until every knee bows and every tongue confesses Jesus.”

🙏 In all things, may Jesus alone be praised.
