Watch and pray with us on the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The church is open from noon to 2pm.

Artwork throughout church is from Gesture by Manju Shandler, a tribute to the almost 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. And so many more lives changed.

“But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God,
and no torment will ever touch them.
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died,
and their departure was thought to be a disaster
and their going from us to be their destruction,
but they are at peace.
For though in the sight of others they were punished,
their hope is full of immortality.
Having been disciplined a little, they will receive great good,
because God tested them and found them worthy of himself;
like gold in the furnace he tried them,
and like a sacrificial burnt offering he accepted them.
In the time of their visitation they will shine forth
and will run like sparks through the stubble.”

The church will be open from noon to 2pm on September 11, 2026, as we mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. All are welcome to light a candle and pray.

A Prayer for 9/11, by Fr. Alberto Cutie

God of love we place in your loving arms the thousands of innocent lives that were lost on that unforgettable morning of September 11, 2001. We also remember the courage of the countless men and women who put their lives at risk in order to rescue, alleviate and bring solace to the afflicted. Help us to continue to work for a world free from every form of hatred, violence, and ignorance. May terrorism, in all its forms, disappear from the face of the earth. Amen.

Once a month, our youngest Trinity parishioners bake and decorate birthday cakes for our unhoused friends at Chapel on the Green. Then, they, along with their parents, serve the cake with a big smile and a birthday blessing. All ages are welcome to help with the Birthday Ministry; contact Angela if you'd like to help on Sept. 30.

Not only is our own Assoc. Dir. of Music Sarah Johnson a renowned organist, but she is the Queen of Macarons! Thank you, Sarah, for teaching us the delicate, intricate, and delicious art of making these small bites as part of our "Made to Make" Summer Workshops. And a shout out to Simon Lee who feed us a delicious lunch, too.

You might not place the Trinity Choristers, Clean Bandit, and Zara Larsson in the same thought very often, but their Choir Camp performance of "Symphony" shows it's a match made in heaven.
