As we prayerfully anticipate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we invite you to join us at Trinity for our summer sermon series: America, America (June 14 - July 12).

Our summer sermon series invites preachers to engage with the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America, reflecting on our American identity in light of our faith and the authors of books who have shaped our understanding of what our country is, and what it can be. Many thanks in advance to our guest preachers, including our diocesan staff from Church in Connecticut

What does church look like? On Sundays at 2pm, it looks like a group of friends and neighbors playing the drums outside on the New Haven Green, praying and breaking bread together at on the Green

Special thanks to our volunteer group from this past Sunday, , who prepared and served our meal. We also celebrated May birthdays with cake and cards prepared by Trinity kids and families.

We love a crowded table at Chapel on the Green. Reach out, if you'd like to know more about serving alongside us! [email protected].

Enjoy this recording of Patrick Gowers’ rapturous setting of “Viri Galilaei,” featuring the wonderfully combined forces of the Trinity Choir and the St. Thomas Choir.
Also look out for the special angle of double organists playing “Robo Soosie,” the temporary new age replacement console.
Listen for the floaty choral opening, organ “twinkles,” and a dramatic ascending glissando that leads to a glorious chorale proclaiming the triumph of Ascension Day.

We rolled giant foam dice for suggestions of who we might pray for on this beautiful spring day!

Photos from our first gathering of Episco-PALS, a regional initiative to Episcopal families from different churches together for fellowship, play, and prayer. Are you a family attending an Episcopal church in the greater New Haven area? Would you like to suggest what we might do next? We have connections at a few churches in the area, though reaching out to [email protected] is a good place to start.

On this day last week, women from Trinity gathered with faithful women from across the state of Connecticut for the annual Episcopal Church Women luncheon. Guest speaker Kenneasha Sloley spoke on the theme of uplifting women, sharing stories from her work as a principal at a "turnaround" school in New Haven.

We are grateful for women in our community: women who have prayed, polished, sewn, crafted, organized, led, preached, sung, conducted, served, mothered, and welcomed others into our community of faith.
