We feed our bodies every day, but our souls need nourishment too. Jesus said His words are “spirit and life” because Scripture reaches places ordinary food never can. It corrects our thinking, strengthens our faith, comforts our hearts, and leads us back to truth.

If you have been feeling spiritually empty, do not settle for what the world offers. Open God’s Word and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and apply it. The same Jesus who fed the hungry crowd still gives lasting life to everyone who comes to Him.

Some battles are too great for us to fight in our own strength. That does not mean we give up. It means we stop allowing fear to control us and trust the One who has already gone before us.

God called Gideon a mighty warrior while Gideon was still hiding in fear. He did not feel brave, qualified, or prepared, but God already knew what He could accomplish through a man who trusted Him.

Your courage does not come from feeling strong enough. It comes from knowing the Lord is with you. Whatever God has placed before you today, do not face it according to your own strength. Move forward in faith, obey His direction, and trust Him to provide what you need.

Courage is not pretending we feel no fear. It is refusing to let fear have the final say because God is with us.

Joshua faced responsibility greater than his own strength. God did not tell him to believe in himself. He told Joshua to be strong and courageous because the Lord would be with him wherever he went.
