What a powerful night of worship at the U.F.W.B. Middle Atlantic Conference District Union Worship Service, hosted by Presiding District Elder Dr. John E. Cotten Jr. of the New England Metro District and New Hope Worship Center.

New Hope Worship Center praise team set the atmosphere declaring, “Lord, I believe everything You said — I’m still alive because of what You said,” as the people of God worshiped together in unity for all He has done. Walking in the Word Prophetic Ministrieschoir then carried us even deeper into worship with a powerful selection.

The night was beautifully sealed as guest preacher Pastor Michelle S. Joyner delivered a timely and strengthening word from Deuteronomy 11:14 and Romans 5:3–5, titled “Can You Stand the Rain.” We left encouraged, challenged, and reminded that even in pressure, testing, and uncertainty, God uses the rain to prepare us for promise. A night marked by faith, unity, and renewed strength.

🔥 What a time we had at our 5th Sunday New England Metro District Service, hosted at New Hope Worship Center under the leadership of Presiding Elder John E. Cotten Jr.!
The praise team came out blazing, setting the house on fire with a powerful selection that pushed the church into praise! 🙌🏽
Presiding Elder Cotten then introduced the preacher for the hour, Apostle R.J. Hamlet Sr., who delivered a life-changing word from Genesis 41 titled "God Is In My Story." 📖🔥
The Word was rich, prayer went forth, and breakthroughs happened all over the building. It was truly an awesome and unforgettable evening in the presence of the Lord! 🙏🏽✨

What a powerful and refreshing time we had during our 5th Sunday District Weekend!

We began on Friday night with an intimate and sacred service where Presiding Elder Rev. Dr. John E. Cotten preached from John 13 on “Take Up a Towel.” The night concluded with a humbling foot washing service, reminding us of the servant’s heart we are called to have.

On Sunday evening, we closed out the weekend with an incredible service as we welcomed Bishop Daniel Bland and Revival Church CT for a time of worship and fellowship. Their church choir ministered in song, and Bishop Bland delivered a powerful word from Genesis 26:12-22 titled “I’m Getting Too Big for This Place.”

God truly moved all weekend, and we are grateful for the unity, worship, and word that strengthened our district. Something great is happening in the New England Metro District!
