"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Notice the order.

The power is not in resisting alone. The power is in submitting first.

Submission places you under God's authority. Resistance exercises the authority God has given you.

You cannot effectively stand against the kingdom of darkness while living in rebellion against the King of Light.

Many people are trying to cast out what they refuse to crucify. They are rebuking devils while entertaining the flesh. They are fighting spiritual battles without first bowing before God.

Submission is not weakness. Submission is alignment.

When a soldier stands under the authority of his commander, he carries the weight and backing of the entire army. Likewise, when believers submit to God, they stand under Heaven's authority.

The devil fears a believer who is fully surrendered to God because that believer is no longer operating in their own strength.

Want to overcome temptation? Submit.

Want victory over sin? Submit.

Want the devil to flee? Submit first.

The pathway to spiritual authority begins with spiritual surrender.

HOLY HUSH
The old saints coined a phrase: 'A Holy Hush'...You Ever wonder why SILENT & LISTEN have the exact same letters?

Think its a coincidence?

To listen is the willful act of internalizing what is said or meant by words, sounds and actions; listening with the intent of mental adjustment, response, and/or action.

To truly Listen you must be quiet. To listen to GOD you must learn and practice quieting your mind and spirit. Discernment requires "listening", sometimes our minds and lives are too "noisy" to discern our own spirits, minds, and intentions, let alone those of others.

The Discernment will let you know that there's a time to speak at a time to be silent. Silence can help in many ways: Heal, Convict, Deflect and Avoid Certain and Unknown Trouble and Disaster. Sometimes instead speaking, we should utilize the HOLY HUSH!
