This Saturday March 28 10:00 AM at New Haven Meeting House 225 East Grand Ave New Haven for in person Saturday morning shabbat!

Led by Batya & Lucy! In an effort to expand MM's offerings for young people, we will be holding a story time and sign-making craft activity downstairs during Shabbat services. In addition, kids are invited to join our amazing Batya during the Hakafah (torah procession) as we dance the torah around the sanctuary in joyful song.
-Kiddish and oneg to follow- (bring nosh to share)
-Mask optional but encouraged (masks provided at door, rapid tests available)
-Ramp with railings outdoors and elevator indoors
-Kids room downstairs for kids to play

Join us while performs original arrangements of traditional Yemeni Jewish song through her Ahavat Hadassah project. Drawing from both the sacred men’s singing tradition rooted in piyyut and women’s folk songs, her work brings forward a wide range of Yemenite Jewish musical life—prayer, poetry, and everyday song. With a voice of striking clarity, Anat sings with directness and care, allowing the weight and beauty of the repertoire to speak.

Anat will be joined by Woodbridge’s own (co-music director, violin, and oud), .pirozzolo (percussion), and (bass).

Access info: Venue has ramps and elevator and seating for wheelchairs (pictures
available- please just email after confirmation email and request). Bathrooms onsite. Mask optional with
KN95 masks available at door. There will be a mask only seating section clearly outlined in sanctuary. Sanctuary is a large room with high ceilings. Audio will be amplified.

Access: 4 steps up, one down for bathroom. 

Masks optional- KN95s available at door. Free COVID rapid tests available. (if you’re not feeling well take care of yourself and others and we’ll see you next time!)

Kids and/or adult clothing-cleaned and ideally size sorted for kids
Coffee and bagels will be available feel free to bring other nosh to share. 
Leftover clothing will be donated to a local nonprofit.

Seeking some menorah stuffers for this holiday season? Have you spilled oil all over all of your clothes? Have some surplus dreidel gelt you're just itching to share?

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our very first MM swag sale. Sourcing item and color ideas from many of you, we've worked in partnership with Orange, CT-based purveyor/screen-printer Midnight Creations to design some stuff we hope you'll enthusiastically buy and wear around town with pride. Or that you'll buy for someone else, heck it's the season of Chanukkah giving. If you email [email protected] with questions, likely Megan or Nicole will get back to you. In order to offer you the lowest pricing possible, $0 fundraising dollars are being collected by MM and in lieu of shipping costs, you can all pick up the goods from my home in Fair Haven when they're ready in early 2026.

The High Holidays are a time for opening up to our deepest selves, nurturing our relationships, and reaffirming our commitment to repairing the world. Our need for this collective care work is greater than ever in the face of fascism in the United States and Israel’s ongoing genocide in Palestine.

Our theme this year is Out Of The Depths. Just as Jonah cried out from the deepest depths of the sea, we too find ourselves in the depths of these times. Throughout the Days of Awe, we will ask how to struggle together from the depths of despair, grief, and fear towards liberation, justice, and joy.

Services will include in-person, virtual, and hybrid options, with COVID precautions. Childcare will be provided at morning services.

We ask folks to pay what they are able to continue to make Mending Minyan open and accessible to all. All donations are tax deductible. No one turned away for lack of funds!

Sowing Seeds of Collective Liberation!

Join Mending Minyan for a food and land justice liberation oriented Passover seder on Saturday, April 19th. Arrival at 4:00pm with the seder beginning at 4:30pm. With guests of honor from Common Ground and the Liberated Land Cooperative

Passover is a time for radicals to get together build connections to strengthen and grow our movements. As we all are learning how to stay safe and organize in this current era of extreme repression, Passover seder gives us text, song, and tradition to draw upon to fuel and inspire us. This event is open to people of all faiths and none faiths. There will be family oriented activities, and childcare.
