Transformation is possible, but it does take time!

We still marvel at the changes made at The 180 Center building at 438 East Street in New Haven since we bought it for $1.00 in November 2019.

The physical turnaround of the building beautifully mirrors the life-changing work happening inside its doors every single day:

Many people and churches have invested in the transformation that only God can do in an individual life. We are blessed with a wonderful community of believers that stand with us through prayer, serving, and giving. Thank you so much for your generosity! We pray God blesses you abundantly.

Here’s a shoutout to every teacher at The 180 Center!

Many people don’t know that The 180 Center offers a discipleship training program that includes daily Bible classes from 8:00-12:00 and some afternoons. These classes are also open to the public.😊

All of our 15 teachers are volunteers. We are so grateful for their faithful service. Will you please pray for these teachers and their families? Pray for God to bless them with wisdom, encouragement, health, and favor. Thank you!!

We are going to miss these two!

Pete and Kate are moving to Florida soon. They have played a huge role in the development of The 180 Center over the years. They have been with us from the beginning and always faithfully served with great attitudes.

Pete, a retired New Haven register photographer, gave us awesome pics and videos, but also would do anything we asked him to do…including drive a graduate to NYC to get his birth certificate! Kate served as a teacher, but also spear-headed our clothing donation ministry, playing a vital role for the Community Care Day outreach.

Please pray for them as they move and transition into a new season of their lives. We are happy for them, but sad to see them go.❤️

Transformation doesn't happen overnight—it’s a journey of faith.

James has been faithful to stay many times when he wanted to leave The 180 Discipleship Training Program. Surrender can be difficult at times, but God gives grace.

It started as a typical Sunday service at The 180 Center, but ended with a beautiful old-time gospel spiritual.

 We all love it when brother Eugene leads us with a wonderful song from his heart. God is worthy of all our praise!

Are you tired? There’s free breakfast, coffee, and a place to rest this morning!

It’s Sunday! The 180 Center opens its doors at 8am to serve a free breakfast. This morning there’s coffee, a place to sit, and words of hope.

Our church service starts at 10:00am and we welcome all who need prayer and encouragement.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

No stress, no expectations, just a solid day of good food, games, heavy laughs, and fellowship with friends!

Today was a special day of fun and connection for The 180 graduates, staff,and the men in the discipleship program. Pastor Scott  Tavolacci and his wife Lisa from Gateway Christian Fellowship invited everyone over to celebrate the Labor Day weekend. 

God has used so many individuals and churches  in the New Haven area to bless us in a variety of ways. We are so grateful!
