Welcome to Yale Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship! In Chi Alpha, we believe that life is best lived gro First things first: our name. What are we like?

It comes from the Greek in 2 Corinthians 5:20 in the New Testament which reads, "we are therefore Christ's (Chi) ambassadors (alpha)." We're not a fraternity or sorority but if you're looking for brotherhood and sisterhood, you've come to the right place. So glad you asked! We talk about faith as it pertains to our identity and community. We want to engage in meaningful discussions about who we ar

e and how we are connected to God. And we talk about fruit as it relates to service for others and a changed life through the teaching of Jesus. Simply put: Yale Chi Alpha is a diverse community of students whose roots of faith bear fruit of life. To us, it’s all roots and fruit.

Although this organization has members who are Yale University students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. Yale University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts, or omissions.

Easter Sunday is April 5th (less than two weeks away!!) and we’ll be having our annual Easter Brunch at the Malcolms’ home in North Haven, where we’ll share an Easter feast, play lawn games, and hang out. We’ll be meeting at Harkness Tower for rides to and from the house — stay tuned for more details! 🪻
