Today is Epiphany. 🌟 On this day we celebrate that a brilliant, shining star led the magi to the Christ child, which then revealed Christ to all nations. Epiphany sends us into the world to witness to the light of Christ.

Merry Christmas! Christ is born today!

"Do not be afraid; for see - I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger" (Luke 2:9-12).

It’s the Second Sunday of Advent! ✨

Advent is a season of waiting, hope, and preparation. It’s a time to pause in the busyness of life, to reflect on the ways God is at work in our world, and to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.

This week, take a moment to notice the small signs of hope around you—acts of kindness, moments of peace, and opportunities to share love with others. Advent reminds us that even in the midst of uncertainty, God’s light is coming, and we are invited to welcome it with open hearts.

May this season of anticipation fill you with hope, peace, and joy as we journey together toward Christmas.

First Sunday of Advent

Today we light the first candle, the Candle of Hope, as we begin our Advent journey together.

In the midst of darkness, we wait and watch for Christ, the light of the world. This season invites us to prepare our hearts, to slow down, and to make room for the hope that only God can bring.

“We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.” - Psalm 33:20-22
