September 13th is God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday!

God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday is a day when congregations come together to put our faith into action by serving our neighbors and our community, and Zion has been busy!

This year, Zion is putting our hands to work in several ways! We’re hosting a Cook-In, we have collected a huge selection of socks for the Veterans Outreach Center, AND we’ve collected school supplies for the House of the Good Shepherd!

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated, signed up, shopped, plan to cook, etc. There’s still time to help! We’ll be collecting socks through Sunday, and it’s not too late to sign up to make a meal for the Cook-In. If you’re interested, you can comment here or simply bring a prepared dish with you to church. We’ll gather downstairs in the kitchen after worship to package the dishes into individual meals.
