As you make plans for this Labor Day weekend, remember to refresh your soul. Make gathering together for worship a priority this Sunday. Sunday worship is a wonderful way to pause, refocus our hearts, and remember the goodness and grace of God.
This Sunday's focus is Psalm 51—a powerful picture of David seeking repentance, forgiveness, and restoration.
Psalm 51 reminds us of the seriousness and destructive nature of sin, but it also points us toward the incredible joy that comes through confession, cleansing, and restored fellowship with God.
Repentance is not the end of the story.
It is the beginning of restoration.
• The God who calls us to repent is the same God who welcomes us home.
• The God who exposes our sin is the God who offers cleansing.
• The God who convicts our hearts is the God who restores our joy.
• And the God who forgives us through Jesus Christ invites us to walk forward—not defined by our failures, but transformed by His grace.
