The Congregational Church of New Fairfield's Team, The Sol Trekkers, definitely ran and walked from the Sun on Thursday, August 20th. It poured and over 500 people braved the weather and walked and ran to raise money for Ann's Place. Ann's Place supports those with cancer and their families, providing all services for free.
The Sol Trekkers goal was to raise $1000 and in the end the team raised $3000. Fun was had by all. We celebrated with a great barbecue at the end. Plans are already in action for next year. We welcome the community to join us!

You work hard, so make saving while shopping easy - visit the CCNF Thrift Shop on Satuday, Sept. 5th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.!
Find beautiful bargains on things you need, and some things you want: new and gently used clothing for men, women and children, including shoes and accessories, as well as some housewares are available.
Fill a bag for $18.
Entrance is to the rear of the church building.
Donations can be dropped off in the St. Pauly Shed any time, so when you're cleaning out your closet, just bag up the clean, usable items you no longer use and let them find a second useful life with a new owner.

The CCNF Thrift Shop will be open for shopping Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come check the shop out at 20 Gillotti Road, New Fairfield CT. The shop entrance is to the rear of the church building.

Remember, it's cooler in the Thrift Shop!

A Connecticut church with an outdoor sanctuary, where Sunday worship can be held outside in good weather, and all are welcome!
One evening this week, this area resident stopped by.
We don't know if this was a spiritual moment or a "you caught me on the way to raid the garden" moment, but it was certainly a smile-raising moment.
Come raise more smiles on Sunday at 10 a.m., surrounded by God's creation.

Chuckles here has gotten brave enough to nibble right outside the church door. Will Chuckles make it to church on Sunday?
Come to the 10 a.m. service in our outdoor Garden Sanctuary this Sunday and keep an eye out to see if Chuckles makes it to church!
(Even if Chuckles doesn't attend, there's a very good chance some songbirds will be nearby.)
