Hello Kai-o, I am real excited to be with you all this Sunday night to talk with you about one of my favorite topics, FAITH. How do you know that the faith you carry now will carry you throughout your life? How do you keep the fire burning for God?
As you may have all already read, this will be my (Pastor Abbie) last night at Kai-o as youth pastor. It has been a fantastic journey the last 2 1/2 years with you all.
Let’s make this last night one to remember!

Hello Kai-o youth, I wanted to update you all with an announcement that is never easy to make. A few months ago I started hearing the Lord speak to me about the future of youth group. My heart is for the youth to thrive in their walk with Jesus. I want what is best for the group. With that said, during these few months while in prayer I have discerned that the Lord is asking me to step away from the youth pastor position at New Cumberland.
While I do not know what is necessarily next in my life I do know with full peace and certainty that this is the right decision.
With that said, this Sunday May 31st, will be my last night at Kai-o Youth. I would truly love for you all to join us for a great night together.
Moving forward, I am very happy to announce that our own Tracy Harding will be stepping into the role of youth pastor effective June 1st. Tracy has been working in ministry with teens for well over 30 years and I have full confidence in her leadership and heart for this ministry. She is a wealth of Biblical knowledge, loves Jesus with all her heart and is also hilarious :)
I know some of you may have questions so please feel free to get in touch with me, Pastor Charlie or the elders at New Cumberland. My prayer in full confidence is that this will be a great transition and will only benefit the youth of this church.
I want to leave you with one of my favorite verses from Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He makes everything beautiful in its own season.” This has always struck a chord for me because God knows the times & seasons perfectly. Only He can make it beautiful as we trust His will and guidance, amen!

New Cumberland First Church of God is excited to host Vacation Bible School this summer! All children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to a fun‑filled week of Bible lessons, music, games, science, and lunch together.

Dates: June 22nd–26th
Time: 9:00 AM – Noon
Ages: Entering K–6th Grade
Lunch: Provided Daily

Location: 323 Reno Ave, New Cumberland, PA

You can sign your child up at the our church's Information Station or on our page

If you would like to volunteer for VBS, we would love to have you join the team! There is a sign-up at the Information Station or on our page. If you’re 18 or older, you’ll need to have completed Safe Sanctuary training before VBS week.

Hello Kai-o! Are you looking for a great way to hep out and serve our community?
Next Saturday the 30th, we will be hosting our annual Reno Street Ruckus.
This is our biggest outreach to New Cumberland and its super fun!
We need helpers to run games, serve food and all the other sweet things.
Grab a friend and come join us!
Please contact Abbie ([email protected]) and let me know if you can help out. Set up starts at 7:30am, game set up, chairs/tables etc.
If you are helping with games please arrive by 9:30am.

Hello Kai-o Family! This Sunday we will not be meeting for youth in honor of Memorial Day. This is a very special day as we remember those who gave their all in service to our great country. I pray you have a wonderful time together enjoying family & friends.

Hello friends! We are looking forward to being back together this week at youth. This week I want to take a look at one of the greatest stories in the Bible, the story of Abraham & Isaac, from Genesis 22. It is always a good idea to place your trust into the hands of a faithful God! Join us for a new (ridiculous) game, BBQ, worship and friends. Have a great weekend!
