Area Flood Relief Information
Many of you have been asking about flood relief efforts for the areas affected by the unprecedented rains. After prayer and consideration, we are putting together the following initiatives (see below). If other needs/efforts come to your attention, feel free to reach out. There are obviously many ways that you can help, most of which are posted online.

The mission committee would like to initiate a collection of money to help the residents of Crooksville. Cash or Checks (made out to the Village of Crooksville) will be collected at NCUMC both Sunday August 23 and 30. The money will be given to a special established account at the Community Bank to be used by the Village as they see fit.

Also, Joy Snyder, who is our administrative assistant for the South Forest District has been helping to pull some materials together to help create some temporary shelter. This is happening at the Roseville Middle School. She mentioned that they have run out of pillows (they must be new). If anyone is interested in donating, or helping to organize a pillow collection, please reach out to me.

Other Supplies needed:
box fans, pillows, bedding sets for twin and double beds (8 each of bedding sets).

If you are able to bring them to the church asap, please let me know so I can make arrangements for them to be picked up by Joy.-

We are collecting items at the church to take to Crooksville on Friday for the flood victims. If you would like to drop items off, the church will be open tomorrow and Friday from 9:00-1:00 pm. Also if you are available to drive items, please let Pastor Amy know!

Community Table
The next community dinner is Wednesday, August 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Come enjoy sub sandwiches, including vegan options, and great community fellowship.
