ST. PAUL’S EASTER SEASON ACTIVITIES. Easter celebrates our new life through faith in Jesus’ resurrection. Close to 500 plastic, candy-filled eggs were hidden on the playground early Easter morning for the Egg Hunt. Eggs were a variety of colors based on Jesus’ Life and ministry. Some were lamb-shaped because Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The Easter Children’s Program included a Message, “Where do Easter Eggs Come From?” and singing with dancing. After the Egg Hunt, Easter Crafts were offered in Fellowship Hall. The Life Cycle of the Butterfly was used to help children understand Jesus’ resurrection during weekday school chapels in late April and during the Gathering Worship Service, a 30 minute, interactive, joyful, family-friendly service, on April 26 at 9am.
