stown and the Greater Rockland County for over 75 years. We are a multi-generational egalitarian Conservative Jewish Center, actively affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and the Jewish Federation of Rockland County. At NHC, we recognize that each one of us has unique strengths and abilities, and we welcome and value participation from all. In addition, as a part of the Big Tent Judaism / Jewish Outreach Coalition, we strive to be open and inclusive to all, including the unaffiliated, interfaith families, and the LGBTQ community. Regular Service Times:
- Shabbat Morning: Every Saturday at 9:30 AM: Service in the Main Sanctuary
- Friday Evening Shabbat Services: 6:00 PM (unless otherwise noted). This is a very special, very warm, very beautiful, very musical service. Please join us with your families & friends.
- Friday Night Shabbat Family Services (All ages invited): Watch for upcoming dates! (Come to service or service & dinner or just dinner. RSVP necessary for Dinner)
- Tot Shabbat Fun: Monthly 5 PM with Rabbi & Cantor – watch for upcoming dates!
- Daily Minyan: Monday through Thursday at 7:30 PM* (unless otherwise noted)
* Please Note: When a family is sitting shiva, a service is often arranged at the residence (not the synagogue). Shiva minyanim begin at 7:45 PM.
- Sunday Morning Minyan: 9:00 AM (note, unless otherwise noted, during the summer months of June through August, we join with New City Jewish Center at NCJC for 8:30 AM minyan)
