Tuesday evening, NCJC Habayit Hebrew School students debuted Megillat Hashoah, a child centered digital project bringing one survivor's story to life through art, music, movement and testimony. At the heart of the project is Malka's story-her life before the war, survival through Auschwitz, and eventual reunion with family-seen through the eyes of students who honor her as a survivor, a child, and a human being. Through this work, our students learned the sacred responsibility of memory: To remember, to bear witness, and to pass stories to the next generation.

A wonderful (rescheduled) MLK Jr Day Of Service. We made fidget blankets for people with dementia and autism, packed blizzard boxes for the elderly for emergencies, created dog and cat toys for animals in shelters and rolled coins to be donated to Hadassah. Thank you to all of those who joined us and to all those who helped it all come together - special shout out to Caren Schwartz!

Everyone is welcome!
