We are a group of believers, under the oversight of the Presbytery of Ohio, who are seeking the Lord's will in establishing a local congregation of the OPC in the New Castle/Henry County area. Services and Studies:

Public Worship-Sunday mornings at 10:30AM
Sunday School- Sunday mornings at 09:30AM
Thursday Bible Study- Thursday morning at 09:30AM

Are you new to RLBC? Here’s what you need to know!

So you’ve made in onto the Redemption Life Bible Church page, and you may be interested in visiting...What will this church look like when you arrive? We hope to answer the most pressing questions you may have when considering gathering with us on Sunday. So, the first questions you may have are PARKING, KIDS, DRESS CODE...Right?

PARKING - So, you’ve arrived at RLBC using our address (423 south 11th St. New Castle, IN 47362) and you see a small church on top of a hill. You may see the parking lot in front of the building looks small...and either empty or just a few cars. No worries! We have AMPLE parking behind the building on 10th St. The drive that takes you to the main entrance at the top of the hill also connects to the 10th St. lot! That little lot in front of the church? Generally that is used as a drop off or parking for handicapped members or visitors! If you don’t know where to park, and see this lot, park there!

From the parking lot behind the church on 10th street, you have a couple options to get to the sanctuary. First, you can enter from the door facing the parking lot and follow the signs up the stairs to the sanctuary. You can also walk from the parking lot off 10th street up the drive to the main entrance. Have trouble with stairs? No worries, remember you can park by the main doors at the top of the hill in the small lot next to the church!

KIDS - You’ve finally had a Sunday to wrangle all the kids into the car in an effort to visit a new church and you may be nervous to bring your children into a new environment. Fear not! We love kids! Children are the future of the church, and we want them gathering with us! When we gather on Sunday mornings, everyone joins together during praise and worship and communion. We have a children’s ministry for kids from kindergarten to 5th grade during sermon time, as well as a toddler and infant nurseries if needed. Kids older than 5th grade are asked to stay in the sanctuary and join the adults during the sermon as we all read, see and savor God’s word. Some Sundays we may have everyone stay together in the sanctuary for the sermon! In any scenario, an announcement is made so parents are always informed. And for those with infants or toddlers, we love the sound of young voices in church! We don’t consider them distractions, rather we hear those voices as the life of the church, the future! However, we do offer staffed nurseries for toddlers and infants so parents can focus on the message. In all ways, we want you to feel safe, secure and loved when bringing your family to RLBC, and we want to provide the necessary resources to care for your family, at any age!

DRESS CODE - OK, you’ve achieved a minor miracle in getting everyone up, awake and (maybe) fed and you are ready to put on your “Sunday Best” for a visit to a new church. What does “Sunday Best” look like at Redemption Life Bible Church? Maybe it’s jeans, maybe a T Shirt, perhaps a suit or a dress, maybe shorts if the season is right! God wants to open our hearts to his Word and His truth, and our hearts are not defined by our clothing. Keeping modesty in mind, wear what you are comfortable with! We want to get to know you, your family and your heart more than anything else!

Ok, whew...We made it past those first 3 BIG questions and you may be asking, “What else can you tell me about RLBC? What does an RLBC service look like?”

Well, we’re glad you asked! Generally our gatherings include praise and worship through singing, worship through reading, learning and discerning God’s Word during the sermon, and worship as we join together in communion as we reflect on Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross for our salvation. In all things at all gatherings, everything we do is in worship and reverence to God!

What kind of music will be heard at Redemption Life Bible Church?

Music is a universal language that connects all of us. However, the “dialect” or stylistic preferences may influence our understanding of this universal language...Our musicial “dialect” at RLBC is primarily theologically rich, contemporary Christian music. Occasionally we reference older hymns, but this is generally done with a definite nod to contemporary song structures and styles. We are a Bible believing, Bible saturated gathering of believers, so while the music may sound modern and contemporary, it is always rooted in the never changing Word of God. On any given Sunday, you will hear singing accompanied by acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, synthesizers and drums.
