On July 4th, GCC was blessed with an evangelism opportunity at the University of Delaware, where many great Gospel conversations took place. Please join us in praying for all of the seeds that were planted and that God may do a work in their hearts! Thanks to all who participated and to Tom Fox from Belcroft Bible Church for joining us as well!

Today we celebrate the true miracle of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. If not for the resurrection, as Paul puts it in 1 Corinthians 15 “our faith is futile and we are still in our sins”. But thanks be to God for this wonderful act of grace and matchless mercy to claim victory over the grave, that our sins may be forgiven to all who repent and call upon the name of our Lord!

1 Peter 1:3 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,"

Luke 24:5-6 - "And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,"

What an encouraging message Pastor James brought yesterday that we can hold near to us, not only heading into the new year, but something that we can find comfort in as we navigate this fallen world in which we live. Check out the sermon below!

“Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread." Isaiah 8:12-13

Merry Christmas! Praising God today and always for sending forth His son!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6

“And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭14

For the last month, Pastor Paul has been preaching on "Theology of Giving" from Philippians 4:14-20. To supplement this teaching, He added an article on the "Informing Your Faith" website titled "What does the Bible teach about Money?" This resource is a helpful guide to biblically thinking about money and giving. Here is the link to access the article:

The Bible is filled with principles that help us to be wise with our finances. The Pentateuch is littered with financial legislation to regulate OT Israel in their personal finances and economy. The book of Proverbs provides readers with a practical guide on how to avoid the self-induced poverty of....
