Prayers Of Purpose ✝️ The second Sunday of May, is Mother's Day in the United States. It is the day to embrace and celebrate all the amazing women in our lives. "When God created motherhood, He wove a sacred plan, a love to mirror divine grace and reach the heart of man". A mother's love is a profound reflection of divine love. It is unconditional, patient, and enduring. It acts as an earthly sanctuary that mirrors God's nurturing grace, sacrificing everything for a child, offering unwavering forgiveness, and providing a guiding light that never fades, just as heaven watches over us with tender, everlasting care.
A mothering instinct is in all women. "Mothers of the World" offer boundless love and care to others proving motherhood is an action, not just a biological state. Celebrate and honor the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, friends and mentors who are the guiding beacon of light, patient in many ways and selfless. Their wisdom shapes our spirits, shining ever bright with tireless devotion and wraps us in a love that warms us from within. Like God’s own love, "it is a source that does not ask for pay, It is patient and forgiving when all others turn away. It strengthens us when we are weak, and comforts when we cry, A sacred, selfless, steady love that never says goodbye, And when her days on earth are over, a mother's love lives on, through the many generations and memories with God's blessings on each one"!
Poem by Herbert Farnham
God took pieces of everything wonderful to make moms. God took the fragrance of a flower... The majesty of a tree... The gentleness of morning dew... The calm of a quiet sea... The beauty of the twilight hour... The soul of a starry night... The laughter of a rippling brook... The grace of a bird in flight... Then God fashioned from these things A creation like no other, And when his masterpiece was through He called it simply – Mother.
Proverbs 31: 31
"Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
3 John 1: 4
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
1 Peter 3: 4
"You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God."
