Sunday was truly a “Back to Basics” day at Mt. Zion!
Last Sunday, Stephen Hogan shared a powerful message on “Why We Pray” from Luke 11:1–4. This Sunday, he continued our “Back to Basics” series with a meaningful message on “Why We Read the Bible,” using 2 Timothy 3:16–17. He broke down these verses and reminded us of the importance of God’s Word and why we need it in our everyday lives.
And then God gave us a very literal reminder to get “Back to Basics!” 😄 The power went out during Sunday School, so we worshiped without electricity. We opened the blinds, let the sunlight pour in, and sang our worship songs a ca****la. What a beautiful and unforgettable morning of worship!
