What is courage?

Assistant Pastor Rob Knechtle asked a short but powerful question: So now we ask you that question! Do you have the courage of Esther? A courage like Job?

A courage that says, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” A courage that chooses to glorify God even in suffering, uncertainty, or sacrifice.

Biblical courage is not the absence of fear. It is faithfulness in the middle of fear.

Do you want that kind of courage? If so, try Jesus. Right where you are, call out to Him and ask Him for the strength, faith, and courage only He can give.

“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who came out to support The Annual RARE Family Fun Day and our very own Folglio family!

“Count Me In” is more than just a phrase, it’s a commitment to showing up, serving others, and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

The Folglios and our volunteers embodied that beautifully this weekend through their love, sacrifice, joy, and willingness to serve the community.

Thank you for reflecting Christ so well.

What do you do when God answers the prayer of someone who doesn’t even believe in Him, but seemingly not yours as a faithful follower?

Assistant Pastor Stuart Knechtle approached this difficult question with honesty and hope. Yes, that can hurt. But what an opportunity for evangelism.

If God is gracious and merciful enough to hear the cries of non believers, why not encourage our friends and loved ones to take a chance and call out to Him themselves?

What do they really have to lose?

Invite your friends to church. Encourage them to pray honestly. And watch how the Holy Spirit can move in a person’s heart in ways no argument ever could.

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

Youth Pastor Rob Knechtle pointed to a powerful parallel between Esther and Christ.

Esther was willing to leave the safety and comfort of the palace in order to risk her life for her people and walk in obedience to God’s purpose. In a far greater and ultimate way, Jesus left the glory of Heaven, took on flesh, and entered into our suffering in order to accomplish the will of the Father through the cross.

This is the beauty of the Gospel: God is not distant from human suffering. In Christ, He stepped into it.

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses…” Hebrews 4:15

There’s only 1 GOD that claims this and we should have hope in that truth alone.

What do you do when God feels silent?

Assistant Pastor Rob Knechtle preached on For Such A Time As This, walking us through the story of Book of Esther and reminding us of a powerful truth: even when God’s name is not mentioned, His hand is everywhere.

Faced with impossible circumstances and difficult decisions, Esther shows us what courageous faith looks like, trusting God’s providence even when the path ahead is unclear.

What difficult decision might God be calling you to make for such a time as this?

How do children first begin to understand the love of God?

Assistant Pastor Stuart Knechtle reminds us that one of the clearest ways is through loving parents.

It is much easier for a child to believe in an all loving God when they have parents who model that love daily through grace, patience, sacrifice, and truth and the fruit of The Spirit!

Parents, your love is often one of the first reflections your child sees of their Heavenly Father.

Be reminded of that as you “Train up a child in the way he should go…” Proverbs 22:6
