We’ve gotten a lot of much needed rain but until we get our driveway filled we recommend parking along the side of 240th Rd and walking in to the cemetery. Don’t get stuck in the mud!

Springtime at the cemetery means transplanting and watering prairie flowers and grasses on gravesites.

We have a tool/equipment shed!!! Thanks to everyone who contributed to the project. We are thrilled to be moving out of our little trailer just in time for summer maintenance.

Hey friends! Heart Land Prairie Cemetery has outgrown our small trailer and we need a tool shed! We are raising funds to have one built this spring. At last! A place to store our mower, tools, burial boards, ropes, and the gorgeous Kinkaracart (in photo) that we acquired last May.
There are three ways we can receive donations. Please indicate “HLPC Tool Shed” in the memo whichever way you select.

Labor Day weekend at the cemetery. We did some trail clearing and mowing. Beautiful fall flowers and grasses cover the burial meadow.

I can’t get over how gorgeous the prairie cemetery is this summer. The meadow burn in February worked some perennial magic.
