Bartimaeus is one person we know by name in the Gospels whom Jesus healed by curing him of blindness. He heard Jesus passing by and begin to shout, "Son of David! Have mercy on me!" despite the crowds telling him to back off and be quiet. This made him more desperate so that Jesus heard him and granted His request.

Today, our biggest obstacle may not be the crowds but a culture of general disbelief and indifference. Yet, all of us have a particular need that only God can provide. Let us again approach God with the same kind of determination that Bartimaeus had. Let us cry out to God to pour out His spirit upon us and revive His people.

Tomorrow we have a special speaker: Our superintendent Rev. Nick Fatato will come and share the word with us. Service begins at 10am. All are welcome to come and worship with us!
